There are a multitude of online courses out there and most states are requiring some sort of Boating Safety Course. While all of these are a GREAT IDEA, you never actually get to drive a boat during the course! We want to change that.
If you just bought a boat or are thinking about buying a boat in the near future, we can help you prepare for years of enjoyment of your investment. If you are not comfortable operating your current boat, or have a family member who wants to try their hand at the helm, this course is perfect! We create a judgement-free environment to bring a "Hands-On" approach to boating safety and enjoyment on the water.
One of our US Coast Guard Captains will work, in detail, with you on an individual basis. From basic trailering, the launching of your vessel, and securing a vessel to a dock to maximizing the full potential of your specific boating needs, we will cover all aspects of safe boat operation on the water! Proper waterway etiquette, safe methods to approach other vessels, situational and location awareness, proper speeds in certain zones, emergency towing, and tubing safety are just a few additional aspects that are included in the course.
